FileMyTaxToday.com provides tax preparation, tax filing assistance, and related administrative support services based on the information and documentation supplied by you.

Unless explicitly agreed in writing:

• We do not provide legal advice
• We do not provide investment advice
• We do not act as your legal representative before the CRA

Our role is limited to preparing and submitting tax-related information as instructed by you.

4. USER OBLIGATIONS AND ACCURACY OF INFORMATION:

4.1 Your Responsibility:

You are solely responsible for ensuring that all information, documents, and data you provide are:

• Complete
• Accurate
• Up to date
• Truthful

4.2 Reliance on Client Information:

We rely entirely on the information you provide. We are not responsible for verifying the accuracy or completeness of your submissions unless explicitly agreed in writing.

4.3 CRA Communications:

You are responsible for reviewing and responding to all CRA notices, assessments, reassessments, audits, and correspondence unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

5. NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS:

Tax outcomes depend on legislation, CRA interpretation, and the accuracy of information provided.

     Accordingly:

• We do not guarantee refund amounts
• We do not guarantee filing acceptance
• We do not guarantee processing timelines
• We do not guarantee protection from audits, penalties, or reassessments

All CRA decisions are outside our control.

6. FEES, BILLING, AND REFUNDS:

6.1 Fees:

Fees are disclosed prior to service delivery and are payable in full unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6.2 Non-Refundable Services:

Once work has commenced, fees are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

6.3 Payment Disputes:

Unauthorized chargebacks, reversals, or payment disputes may result in immediate suspension of services and recovery action.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

7.1 Exclusion of Damages:

FileMyTaxToday.com shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect or consequential losses
• Loss of income, profits, or opportunities
• CRA penalties, interest, or enforcement actions
• Delays caused by third parties or regulatory bodies

7.2 Maximum Liability:

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.

8. INDEMNIFICATION:

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FileMyTaxToday.com, its directors, officers, employees, and contractors from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your breach of these Terms
• False, incomplete, or misleading information you provide
• Misuse of the Website or Services
• Violations of applicable tax or regulatory laws

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS:

All content, systems, workflows, software, text, graphics, logos, and materials on the Website are the exclusive property of FileMyTaxToday.com.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or exploit any part of the Website without prior written consent.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, expressly excluding Quebec. You agree that any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario.

14. CHANGES TO TERMS:

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. SEVERABILITY:

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable.

16. ENTIRE AGREEMENT:
